These sustainably harvested, handmade lokta paper cards are made from the bark of the daphne bush. Each year the bush grows the bark back so there is no need to destroy trees. Each set has five cards and 5 natural lokta paper envelopes.

BEAUTIFUL CARDS

These cards are beautiful. Colors are bright and the lines forming clouds in the Tibetan style are perfect for Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike. The cards are the size of the average greeting card. I was looking more for envelopes to use when giving to my Buddhist teacher when we meet for Dar Shan but had no luck anywhere. I decided to go with these cards when I first saw them. They're larger than I need but just right in design. They will make great New Years, Birthday cards. They can really be used for any occasion.

These are very pretty. I bought them for an art project and they are so nice. The red is beautiful. The envelopes are so nice too have that real handmade look.
