Spiritual Amethyst Tibetan Gau Mala

1 review   |
  • Amethyst is meditative stone that works in the emotional, spiritual, and physical planes to promote calm, balance, peace, and healing.
  • This one-of-a-kind amethyst mala is made here at the DharmaShop with 108 beads, Hill Tribe Thai silver accents, and a gorgeous handcrafted Tibetan Gau from Nepal.
  • The teardrop-shaped sterling silver Tibetan Gau locket features incredible detailing and a matching faceted teardrop amethyst gemstone in the center.

Tibetan Gau pendants like this one take an incredible amount of time and skill to create.  It is a special work of art in itself designed to carry and protect your small sacred items.  Inside of this Gau you will find a small piece of kata prayer scarf along with an image of HH the Dalai Lama.

The amethyst meaning is one of spiritual growth and protection, while bringing clarity of the mind to the owner.  It is a great stone for both the Crown and Third Eye Chakras.  It is used for inspiration and intuition.  It helps to focus energy, still the mind, and inspire an enhanced meditative state.

Mala measures approximately 33 inches around.  Beads are 8mm.  Gau measures approximately 1.5 inches tall, 1 inch wide, and 0.5 inch deep.  Comes with a DharmaShop keepsake gift box!

Beautiful mala

The beads are of good quality as is the locket. I do wish it were knotted between the beads, but few malas come that way. I had not expected the locket to be as awkward as it seems to be when using the mala in meditation. Perhaps that is just a matter of practice. Knowing what I know now, I would still buy it again.
