Prayer wheels are used daily by monks and laypersons alike in all Tibetan Buddhist communities. They are held in the hand during prayer and spun in a clockwise direction. Inside the prayer wheel are scrolls containing many mantra. Every time the wheel is turned it releases all of these mantras into the heavens.

A beautifu copper and brass wheel whith the 8 auspisiouc symbols on the outside and om mani padme hum mantra in sanskrit.

    Beutiful Prayer Wheel!

    This prayer wheel was actually bigger than I imagined. It feels great holding it, it is a good size and weight (I have small hands). It is also VERY beautiful!
