Tibetan Agate Dzi & Bodhi Wrist Mala

• Designed by DharmaShop founder, Sander Cohen, in 1999, this wrist mala features authentic Bodhi Seed beads hand strung with a striped Agate centerpiece.
• Striped Agates like these are actually the original beads, before the traditional "eye" Dzi beads, that Tibetans collected. This is why striped agates are sometimes referred to as the "Mother of Dzi".
• Bodhi Seed beads have special meaning for all seekers of divine wisdom. "Bodhi" in Sanskrit means enlightenment; as an "enlightened" seed, many practitioners use these malas for their essence and inherent teachings within each seed.

Tibetan Buddhists believe that Agate helps stabilize the aura and eliminate negative energies. Every bead has its own beautiful details just like a beloved Dzi. It also carries rich spiritual significance, making this not just an accessory, but also a tool for mindfulness and peace.
