Traditional Tibetan Copper Prayer Wheel

2 reviews   |

From Buddhist centers and temples, to monasteries and stupas, prayer wheels are turned clockwise to release prayers and mantras into the heavens.  This finely crafted handheld prayer wheel is made of brass with copper details and a hand carved wooden handle.

The outside of the prayer wheel features two lines of the compassion mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, in copper Sanskrit script.  Inside are scrolls containing mantras and prayers which multiply with each turn.  It can be opened to add your own prayers.

Spin the wheel clockwise whenever you feel the need to improve your karma.  We hope it brings you continuous good wishes and joy!

Prayer wheel measures approximately 8 1/2 inches long and 1 3/4 inches in diameter.  Made in Nepal.

The top came right off when I took it out of the box I replaced the top and secured it but I was a little concerned. However I am glad I got it

Hello Patricia, thanks so much for taking the time to share this feedback! The top of the prayer wheel is a removable 'cap' like feature, so you can add any mantras or prayers you want in this style! I hope this information is helpful! Thanks again for your feedback and support of Himalayan artisans!
