A great mala for practice, it features 108 disc-shaped bone beads plus two bone counters. A very traditional Tibetan design. Mala can not be worn as jewelry, but is perfect for meditation practice and counting mantras.
A note about bone beads: Tibetan nomadic life is hard, and in the cold there is little to eat. Water buffalo is a main staple in Nepal and Tibet and when an animal is used for food nothing is wasted. These amazing bone beads are hand inlaid by artisans who recycle and reuse everything in daily life and spiritual practice.
Mala mesaures approximately 18 inches around. Will not fit around neck or wrist. Beads are 14mm by 4mm. Handmade in Nepal.
