All over Nepal, the ubiquitous 'yak wool' shawl is sold to tourists. In reality, yak wool shawls worn by Tibetans and Nepali people are scratchy and expensive. Our shawls are made with 30% New Zealand cotton/wool blend and 70% acrylic for a supple, warm and soft feel. Christy bought one of these from our freiends in Boudhanath two years ago and she simply loves its durability, softness and warmth.
25" by 75" shawls are great for cold winters and are equally at home on a man or a woman. Handmade in Kathmandu, Nepal.
