Antique Tibetan Buddha Bowl

• This antique singing bowl was acquired from one of our favorite singing bowl experts and sound healer, Mangal Man.  He is a singing bowl artist that specializes in sound healing as well as collecting antique singing bowls.
• DharmaShop co-founder, Christy Cohen, hand picked this unique bowl from a stunning and superior collection of antique bowls from Mangal's collection in Kathmandu.
• This beautifully aged antique singing bowl has a rare and unusual shape referred to as a Buddha bowl.  It's truly a one-of-a-kind bowl with gorgeous signs of age and wear including some natural patina.  With its unique shapeand a rich tone, it shows and sings beautifully.

The unique shape of this bowl is very similar to what you can see depicted in the hands of the Buddha.  We were so excited to see and play this style of bowl in person, as they are incredibly rare.  Buddha bowls are highly sought after by collectors and practitioners alike due to their shape creating a sound quality like no other!

This one-of-a-kind bowl features a perfectly golden exterior with light lines and hash marks around the rim.  The inside includes a beautiful natural patina created over time.  It's a great addition to any collection.

Bowl rings at a G note when struck with a woolen mallet.  This note resonates with the Throat Chakra.  It influences communication, dreaming, artistic expression, good judgment, self-belief, wisdom, and truthfulness.  When the Throat Chakra is balanced, it allows for free communication, helping us to feel centered and happy.
