This antique Tibetan singing bowl was hand picked by DharmaShop founder, Sander Cohen, from a stunning and superior collection of antique bowls from Kathmandu.
It is a medium sized, beautifully aged, hand hammered singing bowl. Truly a one-of-a-kind bowl with gorgeous signs of age and wear including hand etched hash marks along the rim. With these antique details and a rich tone, it shows and sings beautifully.
Bowl rings at a C note when struck with a woolen mallet. This resonates with the Root Chakra, which is situated at the base of or tail end of the spine. It is the foundation of the physical body; it stimulates vital forces throughout our body and assists in keeping us grounded to the earth.
Bowl measures approximately 6 1/2 inches in diameter and is about 3 1/4 inches deep. Comes with a traditional wooden striker. Cushion sold separately.
All sound recordings are made by striking the bowl once with our Handcrafted Red Wool Mallet.
