Spiritual Connection Tibetan Singing Bowl

  |
  • A one-of-a-kind antique singing bowl acquired from one of our favorite singing bowl collectors and sound therapy practitioners in Kathmandu.
  • The bowl was hand picked by DharmaShop founder, Sander Cohen, from a stunning and superior collection of antique bowls.
  • This is a medium sized, beautifully aged, singing bowl.  It features a contrasting and hand hammered finish with some natural patina inside.  Truly a one-of-a-kind bowl!

On his last trip to Nepal in 2019, Sander was able to play hundreds of antique bowls from this collection.  He carefully selected only a few dozen bowls, including this one, for their high quality sound and unique physical characteristics.

Bowl rings at a C# note when struck with a woolen mallet.  This resonates with the Root Chakra, which is situated at the base of or tail end of the spine.  It is the foundation of the physical body; it stimulates vital forces throughout our body and assists in keeping us grounded to the earth.

Bowl measures approximately 6.75 inches in diameter and is about 3.5 inches deep.  Comes with a traditional wooden striker.  Cushion sold separately.

All sound recordings are made by striking the bowl once with our Handcrafted Red Wool Mallet!
